Speculation

The Spoiler Mill is reporting two potential plotlines:
1) A student will be expelled
2) A student will transfer to another school for the next six episodes.

At first the second plotline made me nearly hysterical. Which student would I be okay with not seeing for awhile? I immediately started a mantra:

Don't let it be Artie.
Don't let it be Artie.
Don't let it be Artie.
It can't be Kurt.
It can't be Kurt.
It can't be Kurt.

Honestly, I don't want it to be anyone. I would miss anyone who left New Directions. Of course I would miss some more than others. Puck was gone for two episodes, and even though he's not my favorite, I still missed him. The club wasn't the same without him.

But then I calmed myself down. Transferring to another school doesn't mean the character would necessarily be off the show. We would probably see the person at the other school, most likely in a rival glee club. If this is the case, then the obvious suspect for transfer would be Kurt, since the preview for the next episode claims that Kurt might be leaving McKinley, and EVERYONE is talking about the debut of Darren Criss as a potential mentor / potential boyfriend for Kurt. So a no- brainer then, right? Perhaps.

But the article I read does use the word "gone." The student will transfer to another school and be gone for six episodes. "Gone" from Glee the show, or "gone" from the glee club New Directions? This is "need to know NOW" information! :)

I will be very upset if anyone is gone from the show for six episodes, and I will be most upset if the person is Kurt or Artie. But with the addition of Blaine, I just don't see how Kurt could leave for six episodes. I certainly hope that Ryan Murphy and company are playing semantics with us by using the word "gone."

Now for the first alleged plotline. When you think of expulsion, the first name that comes to mind is Puck. Which is why I doubt it will be Puck. My current guess would be Artie, based on the preview for next week that Puck and Artie become buds. Supposedly they become friends because Puck is trying to reform, but something tells me that plan is going to backfire. If Artie is expelled, though, the decision better get reversed darn quick.

Now, could it be that the two plotlines will involve the same student? Could someone get expelled and then transfer to another school for a few weeks?

Just about anything is possible on Glee.

As for the title of the episode, "Never Been Kissed," Chris Colfer has already said that the title does not refer to Kurt. So which student in New Directions has never been kissed (at least not a kiss that we have witnessed?) Only two I think: Mike Chang and Mercedes. Well, Sam too. My bet if its a student would be that Mercedes gets kissed. But there's also speculation that its the new football coach that gets a liplock.

Isn't it Tuesday yet?
