"Never Been Kissed" Storyline A Part 2

Okay, here's the other big scene of Storyline A:

"Kurt told me what you did." Blaine
"Oh yeah...what's that?" Karofsky
"You kissed me." Kurt
"I don't know what you're talking about" Karofsky
"It seems that you might be a little confused, and that's totally normal. This is a very hard thing to come to terms with, and you should just know that you're not alone." Blaine
Karofsky shoves Blaine and pins him. "Do not mess with me!"
Kurt shoves Karofsky. "Stop this!"
Karofsky looks at them, then leaves.
"Well, he's not coming out anytime soon." Blaine, wryly
Kurt sits on the steps.
"What's going on? Why are you so upset?" Blaine joins him.
"Because up until yesterday I had never been kissed. Or, at least when it counted." Kurt
Awkward silence.
"C'mon, I'll buy you lunch." Blaine
This scene was such a good representation of the three journeys and personalities of the characters: Blaine, composed and self-assured; Kurt, emotional but finding courage; and Karofsky, aggressive and in denial.
Karofsky's bullying continues even after this scene. Is it because that's all he knows how to do, because he wants to keep up appearances, because he's mad that Kurt rejected him, or a combination of reasons?
Of course it was terribly sad to think that Kurt's first kiss came from a bully. He let us know in this scene that he's not counting the make-out session with Brittany in "Laryngitis." Its true that you never forget your first kiss, but hopefully soon Kurt will have the opportunity to create a happy memory.

It will be very interesting to see where Glee takes this very complicated storyline. Overall, and especially considering how high my expectations were for this episode, I am extremely impressed. The scene direction was genius, the writing was inspired, and the acting was superb. Time and again during the past season and a half of Glee, Ryan Murphy and company have thrown the most complex scenarios at Chris Colfer, the actor with the least amount of experience on this show, and he has delivered every time. Darren Criss doesn't have much professional acting experience either. This is what Ryan Murphy wants for Glee; new, fresh faces. So far he seems to be striking pure gold.
