Glee is back!!

"The New Rachel," the season 4 premiere episode, gave me everything I love about Glee...the return of my favorite characters, new characters I'm already interested in, fantastic performance numbers, lots of emotion, and some great lines. I was very very pleased with this episode. I'm not the biggest fan of guest starts on Glee; I think the show should be focused on the students and Mr. Shue. They are the heart and soul of the show, and they are certainly talented and compelling and have more than enough story lines to keep the show running. But I have to say, Kate Hudson was good, especially her big performance number. All the songs were great last night. My favorite was Blaine's routine for Kurt. LOVED the choreography, and of course the emotion in the performance. And Kurt and Burt saying goodbye...*sob* I am very enthusiastic about the new characters that were introduced last night. Like the new bitch, Kitty. Very interested in Marley and her mother. Puck's brother Jake too. And even thought he's not a new character, I am thrilled that Wade / Unique is now a part of New Directions. Alex Newell SO should have won the Glee Project Season One. So I give "The New Rachel" a big thumbs up! Yea!! Glee is back!!
