I am woefully, woefully behind. Here are some updates on some of the Gleeks. I'm a little sketchy on some details, and I know I won't remember to mention what everyone is doing, because they've all been busy, but here is what I know, and what I think I know:
White House Correspondents Dinner: Chris attended, and I believe Matt, Max, and Darren did as well.
Time 100 List: Chris made the list, and I know he attended the dinner celebrating the people who made the list. As far as I know Darren did not make the list, but I believe he attended the dinner.
Chris did a New York press tour in May, talking about the season finale of Glee, which was shot in New York, the Time 100 list, and other topics. He appeared on Lopez Tonight, Regis & Kelly, Jimmy Fallon's show, and after being bumped several times due to tornado coveage, his taped interview was shown on Piers Morgan Tonight. He also gave a brief interview on the Today Show.
Chris announced two more projects that are in the works for him. He is developing a series for the Disney Channel, based on a book called "The Leftover Witch." This week he also announced that he has signed a two book deal with Little Brown Books for Young Readers. The first book will be called "The Land of Stories."
Chris Colfer celebrated his milestone 21st birthday on May 27th.
Darren also appeared on a few tv shows, performing with the Warblers to promote the Warblers CD and the Glee tour. They appeared on the Today Show and the Ellen Show.
Naya hosted the GLAAD Media Awards. She is also recording a solo album.
Max appeared on the Dr. Phil Show to address bullying. He also appeared on Good Day LA.
Matt released a solo album and appeared on several shows to promote it, including Good Morning America and Regis & Kelly. He also appeared on the Chelsey Lately show. He cancelled most of his solo UK and US dates when he was asked to be the opening act for the New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys Tour.
Jane will be the host of the Emmys this year. She will also appear in an upcoming Three Stooges movie as a nun. And she is writing a memoir called "Happy Accidents" that is set for a September release.
Cory will be starring in an upcoming movie called Monte Carlo. He got a few gigs in with his band before the Glee tour started.
Dianna promoted her movie, Number 4. I believe she appeared on The Tonight Show.
The Glee tour is currently underway. There will be a 3-D movie of the concert available in theaters across the country for a two week engagement beginning August 12th. Season three of Glee begins filming around August 1st.
